Homemade Vegetable Soup

1 2/3 cup beef broth

7 2/3 oz chopped carrots

5/8 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped onions

1 1/4 cup canned diced tomatoes

1/2 cup diced potatoes

1 1/4 cup canned green beans

5/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Heat broth (add water according to package directions) and add undrained tomatoes, diced vegetables, drained green beans, and salt and pepper.  Cover and simmer about 1 hour.  Add water as necessary.  Serves about 8.
