Fruit Cobbler
1 3/8 pint canned fruit
1/4 cup juice drained from canned fruit
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 cup water
1 5/8 cup dry yellow cake mix
2 3/4 oz margarine
Directions:
Drain fruit and reserve juice. Combine the juice with the cornstarch and set aside. Heat the remaining water, remaining juice to boiling. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until mixture thickens and set aside. Place fruit in a greased 12 X 20 X 2 in pan and pour cornstarch mix over fruit. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the top of that. Press into the fruit. Melt margarine and pour over the top of the dry cake mix. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees until top is light golden brown.
