Where to go get a few drinks in Charleston

Going out and visiting your local pub is just part of the whole collegiate experience.  These days, the buzz word for college students and graduates is 'networking'.  Networking for jobs, careers, and internships is all the rage.  Really, in its simplest form, going out to the bars is really just a type of networking.  So next time mom and dad calls, just say you've been doing a lot of networking with some interesting new people and you've got a lot of new 'contacts'.  That'll impress 'em and it sounds a lot better than I got wasted with my friends. 

A couple of friendly reminders as you network your way from one drinking establishment to the next.  One, the bar entry age here in Charleston is 21, so if you're under 21, network at a house party.  Two, catch the drunk bus if you've had too much to drink, there's really no need to network with the police.  You can catch our DUI section if you need any further reasons not to drink and drive.
